Pastor Jerry Worsham continues our study in 1 Kings 13. How do we respond to changes in our life? One thing we can do is to follow Godly leaders. This morning in our continuing study of change in Israel’s history of divided kingdom we see three ineffective leaders.

Pastor Jerry Worsham begins the new Fall Sermon Series titled, “Responding to Changes in Life”. His first message, titled, "Make Wise Decisions", is from 1 Kings 12. In life we are constantly responding to changes. We want in the Fall to study the catastrophic change in Israel’s history in 1 Kings - the division into the Northern and Southern Kingdoms.
Pastor Jerry Worsham concludes his "Developing a Faith that Works” sermon series with a message entitled, "Desiring Godly Wisdom", preaching from James 3:13-18. James continues to challenge us to a living faith, to a faith that works, to real Christianity. He states that authentic Christianity desires and demonstrates Godly wisdom.

Pastor Paul Rhoads preaches from James 5:13-20. Dealing with difficulties as a believer by having a strong, unwavering faith. Though his emphasis throughout has been on a life that validates our faith, there is no denying that faith is the core value of our walk.
Jason Montano, Minister of Student Ministries, speaks on the topic of Love. In our world, love has become confusing. Many have given up on the concept because their experience links them with pain and abandonment. Others think it is nonsense and merely romantic fluff.

Pastor Paul Rhoads preaches from James 5:1-12. The values of the world can infiltrate the believer's life in numerous ways. One of the primary forms of saturation is in the focus on the here and now, instead of maintaining an eternal perspective. James talks here about the need to patiently persevere in the face of this deceptive trap, not caught up in the wrong priorities, but standing steadfast and confident in the Lord's provision.

Pastor Paul Rhoads preaches from James 4:11-17. Throughout the book of James, the Holy Spirit has detailed our constant battle against pride and the inclination to be selfish. Both work contrary to surrendered living, which is the proof of the authenticity of our faith. Here in chapter 4, the challenge of daily submission to the Lord is tested by our desire to control others and elevate self, so the Spirit warns us about the dangers of both, while calling us to a correct response.

Grace Church welcomes a guest speaker who is an overseas missionary. His sermon focuses around the following question: Why did God give us his word - the bible?
Pastor Paul Rhoads preaches from James 3:1-12. Having clearly established that our faith is validated by how we consistently live, and that the spiritual fruit from our lives is what distinguishes genuine faith, James moves to the area that provides the most trouble in doing this - our tongue.
Pastor Jerry Worsham preaches from James 2:14-24 as we continue to look in our study of James at real authentic Christianity. It is to be a faith that is lived out and at work. In contrast our text declares that faith without works is dead.
Pastor Jerry Worsham preaches from James 2:1-13. We have learned in James to be doers of the Word and to live out our Christianity. Notice from our text this morning that this kind of real authentic Christianity does not show favoritism.
Special Guest Speaker, Clive Calver, gives his message from Genesis 22 titled “A Father Heart from God”.
